Authorized On-Line Dealer
Seattle Sunglass Company is an authorized dealer for all products listed on our website and we guarantee the authenticity of our product lines. We have further been certified as one of few authorized dealers to become an Authorized On-Line dealer. Our online authorized dealer agreements require that we sell all product at suggested retail. This ensures that our customers will receive their full manufacturer's warranty. Beware of online stores selling diverted, discontinued, or damaged products. Even shopping from authorized dealers that are not approved for On-Line sales incurs risk on your part. It is the discretion of each manufacturer to honor warranties for product purchased from a non-authorized entity. We are an Oakley Premium Dealer. Seattle Sunglass Company is also an Authorized Oakley Prescription Dealer, Authorized Dealer for Maui Jim Prescription, Kaenon Polarized Prescription and others.

Our manufacturer agreements do not allow us to sell product internationally. U.S. orders only, please.

Upon receipt of your order, you will receive an order confirmation to the e-mail address you provided in the checkout process.

Orders placed by 12 PM PST Monday - Friday typically begin order processing the same business day.

Orders placed after 12 PM PST Monday - Friday, or on weekends or Holidays will begin order processing the next business weekday.

For your convenience, Seattle Sunglass Company accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Please allow up to 24 hours to process your order. Sorry, we cannot process any international credit cards.

We now accept PayPal, but can ship to PayPal Confirmed Addresses Only. No Exceptions!

Phone Orders
Phone orders may be taken during normal business hours. Please be prepared to provide item numbers and descriptions, as well as detailed credit card and address verification information. At our discretion, you may be required to fax in a photocopy of the front and back of your credit card.

Item Availability & Backorders

Item Availability times are a guideline of the typical or usual ship times for each particular item if it is in stock. If you are in a hurry or need to confirm that an item is in stock, please contact us by phone prior to ordering. While we wish item availability were 100% accurate, there may be times when the item is actually out of stock at the time your order is processed. This could occur, for example, if an in-store transaction for the same item occurs just as, or shortly after, your order is placed online. Another case is if there are multiple orders in one day for the identical item causing the item to be out of stock by the time your order is processed. Again, the Availability status listed at the bottom of each item, (e.g. Usually ships the next business day), is the typical ship time AFTER your payment and ship to information has been verified.

In the event your item is backordered and we anticipate any delay of more than 24-48 hours we will notify you by e-mail or phone. Backordered items will be shipped as soon as the item arrives in our facility. Your credit card is charged when the order has shipped.

Returns and Exchanges
Sunglasses and Accessories: Items in saleable condition with all original packaging may be returned or exchanged WITHIN 30 DAYS of Date of Delivery for online orders (30 Days of Date of Purchase for in-store transactions). Frame and lenses must be free of scratches and defects. Returns cannot be accepted for accidental breakage. Items purchased by phone or online must call for a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) within the 30 Day period. No items sold online will be accepted for return or exchange without a RMA.

Other items: We cannot accept returns on health products, e.g. Nature's Tears Eye Mist.

Oakley Wearable Electronics: All sales final on Oakey Wearable Electronics, including but not limited to Thump, Razrwire, O Rokr, and accessories. Please contact Oakely directly for all customer service issues after purchase.

Squeezebox & Audioengine speakers: 14 day return period with RMA and minimum 15% restock fee. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and insurance all ways. Defective Squeezebox units should be repaired/replaced directly by Slim Devices. Audioengine has a 3 year transferable warranty.

Sale and Closeout Items are Final Sale and may not be returned or exchanged.

All Items: Original shipping and handling charges are not eligible for refund. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to return items to Seattle Sunglass Company. If you received free shipping through a promotion, the shipping costs associated with the original ship method will not be refunded. (see Shipping Info below for costs). Items may be returned/exchange in person at our Downtown Seattle location or shipped back. Please contact us prior to returning any online purchase. If choosing to mail product, it is recommended that you use traceable method (UPS, FedEx, insured US Mail, or similar). Seattle Sunglass Company is not responsible for product we do not receive or that is damaged in shipping due to improper packaging. Your return must have the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box and on the label. We receive dozens of boxes daily. Any returns without RMA will be rejected and returned to sender.

Warranty Information
Each manufacturer warranties their product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship one year from the date of purchase. This does not include damage due to abuse or misuse of the product. Please read the warranty card included with your sunglass purchase for details. The end-user is responsible for all shipping charges incurred due to warranty repairs. Most manufacturers encourage customers to handle warranty issues directly with their company. Should you have a question or require assistance with a warranty issue, please feel free to contact us. However, should Seattle Sunglass Company be involved as an intermediate party, we reserve the right to determine what damage may be due to a manufacturer's defect versus normal wear-and-tear.

Sales Tax
Washington State residents will pay their LOCAL sales tax, as per the Destination Based Sales Tax which began July 1, 2008.

Shipping Information
Orders for in-stock items typically ship the within 24 hours of the completion of order processing, pending payment authorization. This does not include weekends and Holidays when carrier pickup is not available.

We ship product fully insured via UPS or USPS Priority Mail to United States addresses only (No PO Boxes or APOs via UPS).

In-Store Customers: With no obligation to purchase, we will gladly special order any sunglass style or color for inspection in our physical store.

Online and Phone Order Customers: If there is a style of interest not listed on the online store, please contact us and we can order the item from the manufacturer, so long as it is available.
